Here are some early testimonials from users on Touch Arcade:
"All I can say is WOW! TileStorm is an amazing puzzle adventure game! The object of the game is to slide blocks in order
to make a path for your character. The art style is incredible along with the game play. There are so many levels and once
you complete a level, it saves your time. That gives the game re-playability in order to beat your score! The level
selection menu is a plus along with the 'continue your current game' option. Not only is this game addictive, but it is
pure fun. I can play TileStorm for hours and not get bored. I keep finding myself coming back for more block sliding
"The graphics of the game are crisp and clear, console worthy. There is some light background music to go along with the
100 levels of game play. Overall this is a great puzzle game with a good amount of content and nice design. Highly
"The developer of this puzzler takes pride in his creation, and with a game as polished as "TileStorm" he has every right

Selection of the best reviews from the AppStore:
I have to say I have tons of games on my iphone, but this one is the best so far. I have been playing it for several days and it is not only challenging, but definitely a great "time-killer." (My family keeps telling me to put the phone down! The graphics are great and I love the fact that I haven't finished the game in a few hours like I typically do! Definitely worth the investment. The support on this game is excellent. I had an email question and it was responded to immediately! Keep it up and make more games like this!
This amesome, addicting and highly polished games comes with over a hundred levels - but it will only take minutes to let you fall in love with Eggbots struggle throughout the beautiful and detailed landscapes. The graphics are clear and crisp, the animations are very smooth and the music is just the right addition to keep you at your iDevice for hours and hours. The learning curve is absolutely moderate in the beginning and will be more steep in the later gameplay, but the challenges are always fair and solvable. TileStorm has an intuivive controls - the old phrase "easy o learn but hard to master" fits in perfectly. TileStorm is a must-have for every single fan of puzzle games, highly recommended to every fan of this genre. Congratulations to the developer - it is not only a game - it is a shiny piece of art, because in each of TileStorms single detail you'll always see all the love which was well-invested throughout the game design!
Tilestorm. Let me say that when I first saw the screenshots, this game screamed out to me “You have to buy me and play me!”. It just looks awesome! If you know me through my reviews at all, You’ll know that if I am playing a game with many levels, I want different themes. At least I got 4 of them here. I believe they are: Construction (Industrial) Desert (Egypt) Medieval (Bavarian style towns) Mayan Jungle (Judging by the pyramids) One of the cool (or cute) things about the different levels, is that out main character wears a different hat to go with the them of the world. Very cool. The Puzzles start out very easy. In fact, while playing the first couple you wonder how the game can even become tough. Then about 7 or 8 in, you start to think it’s close to impossible! Wow, the challenge is astounding. This game is very hard. It’s very rewarding though. Tilestorm is a lot of fun, and looks AWESOME. Just don’t expect to sit down and blow right through it.
Very impressed with the presentation and quality of this puzzle game. The gameplay concept is simple but engaging. Its basically a tile sliding game, where in each levelthe tiles are a different piece of the path, and you have to move and arrange them correctly to form a complete path for the game's main character "Eggbot" to go from start to exit. Eggbot will not move until the path is completed correctly. The game starts out easy and gradually becomes more difficult. Maneuvering the tiles in the later levels can be a decent challenge. In each level the amount of time taken to complete it is counted and your "best time" is recorded, so if you decide to replay the level again at the level select screen you can try to beat your old time. The graphics of the game are crisp and clear, console worthy. There is some light background music to go along with the 100 levels of gameplay. Overall this is a great puzzle game with a good amount of content and nice design. Highly recommended.
TileStorm is one of those games that takes 2 great ideas, wraps them up into a single cohesive experience and gets polished with awesome 3D graphics. At its heart, TileStorm is a sliding puzzle game. So it should be a no brainer if you like this kind of game (there is a lite version to try). But if you are just okay with sliding puzzle games, you'll be pleasantly surprised that its no walk in the park playing TileStorm. You have to slide the pieces along paths (as opposed to a big rectangular boring board like in typical sliding puzzles). This adds one part of the challenge to Tile Storm. The other part comes from the pieces that you are sliding in the first place. You are sliding parts of a path so that the robot can go from one side to the other. So each piece is like a piece from those Pipe games. The challenge comes from imagining what shape of path to make in the first place. The first few levels are pretty obvious, but the path to make gets more interesting with each level. So if you think TileStorm is just a fancy tile game, think again. Or at least, try and finish the lite version first.
This gem of a game is beautifully crafted and is flawlessly optimized for the iPhone handset. Stunning visual designs, complex game concepts and a great soundtrack make this game one of the best. It is highly recommended that the less-intellgent avoid this game at all costs. WARNING: You will NOT get far in this game if do not have sophisticated brain power and determination, both of which are required to play this game.
It only took me a few moments of pondering to conclude that this game is worth buying. And not to my suprise, it is well worth the purchase. The puzzles in latter levels are very difficult(at least in my gathering)yet I hold alacrity to complete them. In the matter of graphics, gameplay and the seamless controls, it is virtually immaculate. I noticed that some people rated this game one star due to difficulty. How fatuous and childish. Because you fail to muster sufficient intellect in problem solving skills, you rate a puzzle game in which you solve puzzles poorly? Not a worthy reason for it does not pertain to all the aspects of a game in terms of overall gameplay. You should expect serious cerebration in such a game. Consisting of 100 levels of gameplay, its sure to keep you busy for many hours(and may befuddle you on so many levels). At a mere 1.99, Tilestorm is a great purchase.
Really love the game and the higher levels can be challenging. It is just that what use is having a great game esp with so many levels if you get stuck on one level and will never get to try any of the others. I believe a game like this should be a bit challenging but there is a point. Why not have no locked themes and just let people enjoy trying each level and if they get stuck, try another one but unlock the themes and I give it a 5 I sent a email to Tile Storm support and they were awesome in helping me and answering questions. Now we just need a fan based community so we can help each other.
To those who rate this great puzzle game less than 5 starts because they are "locked" till you solve the previous level . . . there are 4 levels, each with 25 puzzles and you can pick/play any of them! Get thru the 25 then the next level of 25 are yours. What a great puzzle game! I was "stuck" on #20 for a couple days!!! FINALLY figured it out and am now in the last level with about 4 puzzles left. Worth every penny for this game!
Beautifully created! Kudos to the designer! Suggestion: I would enjoy this much more if there were two levels of play ... one with and one without the "sticky tiles". Sometimes it's soothing to just play with regular sliders and sometimes you want the challenge of the "sticky tiles. Definitely a five star keeper!
This game is absoloutely amazing, great graphics, great gameplay, cute character and very challenging
Very challenging and addictive. Great fun and a bargain!
